Digital Solutions is looking for a .Net Developer:

Digital Solutions is a small NY based software consulting firm focusing on .Net development for the financial services industry. We are looking to fill the following internal position on either a full time or project based (1099) basis:

Most work may be done from your home (either full or part time). Some time on site with the client may be required.

Either
Senior C#/.Net Developer (5 years of experience +)
OR
Junior C#/VB.Net Developer (2-4 years of experience)

C#/.NET Web Developer: Skills Required

The successful candidate has:
-Strong communication skills, enthusiasm and professionalism.
-The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high productivity.

The successful candidate will:
-Understand and be able to program in C# or vb.net
-Understand ASP.NET 2.0, Master Pages and WebParts
-Understand enough about CSS, JavaScript and HTML to design a custom WebPart of Master Page
-Understands the basics of WSS 3.0 and ASP.NET 2.0
-Understand basic SQL Server Database management. Should be able to configure a SQL database, manage views, create stored procedures and develop a database schema based on requirements.
-Have a willingness to learn any upcoming .NET technologies and be prepared to implement them.

Candidate Responsibilities:
-Implementing software specification
-Meeting with project manager to discuss client needs
-Working with graphic designers to present functional layouts
