Pregnancy & Newborn, a national women’s magazine geared toward expectant and new moms, is looking for an experienced, entertaining and reliable writer (who just so happens to be newly pregnant) to share her nine-month journey with readers on our Knocked Up blog.
(Our current blogger is just about ready to give birth! You can read her posts here: http://pnmag.com/pregnancy-blogs/knocked-up) If you’re willing to write unabashedly about your recently uncontrollable flatulence and ridiculous hormone-fused outbursts—in addition to those unforgettable first kicks and that telling ultrasound—you may have what it takes to be our next mom-to-be blogger.
We currently have openings at two of our personal finance related blogs – http://creditshout.com and http://bankshout.com. We are looking to hire bloggers knowledgeable about credit and banking related topics.
1. Must be in USA or Canada
2. Must have strong writing skills and be able to provide examples of previous writing assignments.
3. Must have experience using WordPress and understand how to structure and format posts so that they are presented in a clean and professional manner.
4. Must be able to write 3 – 5 articles per week
What we need
Firstly, we’d like to apologise: ‘mum bloggers’ isn’t a great term but at least it got your attention.
We’re currently on the lookout for Australian mums (with kids under 10) who can write their socks off. We’re working with a variety of large companies on building great content-rich websites, many of which will focus on mums.
Depending on who puts their hand up, we can work with you in a variety of ways – retainer (eg 10 articles per month), one-off hero posts, and possibly part-time to full-time. We just need to see who’s out there.
Suite101 is looking for talented writers who can write 400-600 word non-fiction articles on (almost) any subject(s) they want. As a Suite101 writer you can enjoy the freedom to write what you want, when you want and earn a competitive income off your articles over the lifetime of your career – even if you decide to stop writing for them.
Apparently accepted applicants will be assigned a professional editor who is dedicated to helping you maximize your web writing skills and garner the most exposure for your articles. With over 24 million monthly readers, Suite101 writers enjoy a huge – and growing – audience.
Writing for Suite101 provides you with the opportunity to:
- Put your work in front of millions of monthly readers
- Build your writing portfolio and enhance your profile & reputation online
- Receive feedback and guidance from an established network of professional editors and writers
- Earn competitive income plus productivity bonuses
