We require someone with experience in wordpress, php, social media and all web 2.0 areas to create a weekly ‘how to’ or tutorial video for a blogging website.

The following is required:

Examples of previous videos that have been published, YouTube videos
are acceptable, ones published on blogs/sites preferred

Experience with all aspects of WordPress and its workings

Abreast with all happenings in web 2.0 and social media industries

Able to produce a video of at least 5 mins long once per week, we can
be flexible on publication day.

Preference will be given to those that have ‘the right voice’ and also
design experience. You will not be required to appear on camera though.

Payment is $25 per video, one video per week. Payment will only be made via Paypal.

The Poppington Post is holding a blogger “contest” to find sharp, witty bloggers to regularly contribute content to their info-tainment magazine. Their major topics include  the latest urban trends, celebrity gossip, events, music, fashion, and local hot spots.

To qualify, you must be a good writer, dependable, creative, and good with deadlines. You must  also be on top of general pop, hip hop and R&B cultures.

•    Our online polls will track the blogs and bloggers getting the most attention, and at the end of the Final Round, The Poppington Post will select the top 3 bloggers (“Finalists”) to receive CASH PRIZEs:  (1st – $250; 2nd – $175; 3rd – $100) and a job offer to blog for The Poppington Post.
