Blogging Jobs, July 15, 2015

blog-793047_1280Good day!

In July 2, 2015, celebrity gossip blogger Necole Bitchie called it quits after four years of being one of the most trusted entertainment industry sources in the blogosphere.

Whether you’ve heard of her or not, one thing that will strike you is her interview with The Huffington Post in which she discusses her discussion to move away from blogging to pursue something new.

I think my purpose came to me, or at least I knew that celebrity gossip wasn’t just a lane I was supposed to excel in four years ago, but what I am trying to say is that I was a big contradiction because I was constantly trying to inspire people to not be afraid to live your dreams, but I was afraid to leave the dream I built to move on to something new.

I teared up because I was disappointed that I stayed in something for a long time just because it made good money, but I was not completely happy.

It’s just interesting to see how profitable blogging can be, but it’s not the main reason why people blog in the first place. It’s all the passion for something that will drive and sustain your desire to keep doing what you love. In the case of Necole Bitchie, she’s ran out of love for blogging.

If you feel like you won’t be able to give 100% to blogging (all things considered), then quit and pursue something much more meaningful to you.

But for those who are willing to stick it out through thick and thin, then you should consider applying to the writing and blogging jobs listed below.
