Veteran Blogger and Journalist Seeks Job
Our second Blogger for Hire is Brittney Gilbert, the former author and producer of NashvilleIsTalking.com, a popular blog aggregator sponsored by WKRN, an ABC affiliate. In her own words:
I made national news when the station hired me, a longtime blogger since 1999, to write a blog from within their newsroom. The site began with around 300 visitors a day. By the time I left the blog saw as many as 80,000 visitors in a month. NashvilleIsTalking.com is credited with bringing together and strong and influential community of web self-publishers in the Nashville area, and regularly made the news for its cutting edge format and controversy that inevitably followed.
I am now looking to branch out into a freelance web content writing career, and am fervently scouting for new and exciting projects.
