Telecommute position – Oil & Gas Software Sales

i.Focus is looking for a Oil & Gas Software Sales Person:

Established yet cutting edge software Company is looking for an experienced outside sales rep. to market and sell their software solution to upstream oil and gas exploration/production companies in the Gulf of Mexico region. This product has sold itself up to this point, but the company now needs a sales leader to take it to the next level. This position is telecommute, so you work from your home based office in Houston. Occasional travel (once a month) to the corporate headquarters in Louisiana.

Responsibilities:

Develop business sales plan to effectively manage territory and build pipeline
Sell licenses to both new and existing accounts
Work with the implementation team to help facilitate successful installations
Lead and participate in marketing campaigns to support business plan as required (trade shows, lead generation, etc.)

Requirements

Proven track record of selling software solutions to the oil and gas customers in the upstream market
Existing list of upstream oila nd gas contacts in the Gulf of Mexico that can be leveraged
Experience developing and executing a sales plan
5+ years experience in software sales to oil and gas companies
Understanding of a “day in the life” of a production engineer
