I live, eat and breathe sports... I've wanted to be involved in all aspects of the sporting world. The state of today's game is so corporate that sometimes people forget the true meaning of sports. With high school kids in basketball being allowed to forgo senior years of high school to play with grown men over seas, to the ongoing college violations of athletes accepting gifts or lying about their involvement with professional athletes. We listen to analysts and commentators speak on theses situations, but what about the common fan who day in and day out watch theses athletes, celebrate their uncanny talent and place them on a pedestal that is so easy to fall from. Where is there response to all of this. Well I'm here to speak on it and give it life.

Hey, huge sports fan here. Really into college basketball and football, also NFL and MLB. I'm a huge cubs fan and since we've had our 100 years of losing, I really follow the whole league as just a baseball fan. Love to discuss sports. Life long love.

Lets see,

A radio sports reporter from the Metro Atlanta area, orginally from Boston, and a member of the Professional Bowlers Association. A father who has two young boys involved in multiple sports, and and someone who has played six (6) different sports during his lifetime on a recreational, intramural or professional level.

Fed up with how most media sources are abolishing sports departments, and how most sports are pushed beyond the level of enjoyment for the world's youth, I think I might be able to come up with a variety of topics and issues that would interest the avid and occasional blogger--whether they are passionate about sports or not.

Would I qualify here? I'm open for payment options and rates, depending on the time required by the source seeking my services.
This is a great idea...kudos to the powers that be!

What do you say "Hey". I am a passionate life long sports fan who is ready to share my opinions and insights to anyone and everyone. We are currently in the midst of probably the most unique MLB season ever, and guess what, no one is paying attention. Certainly not by the big bullies on the block, **cough** ESPN. I mean if I have to turn on Baseball Tonight one more time and hear about the stinking Yankees I'm gonna lose it. Tim "I get paid by the Evil Empire" Kirchin talking about how Andy Pettite dominated against the last place Mariners is an absolute disgrace. Memo to Tim, not all baseball fans live in NYC or are Yankee fans. Let's start giving the 2008 MLB season the justice it deserves. There are some amazing stories and it's about time that people start reading about it: The Tampa Rays and arguably the best pitching rotation in the AL, the FL Marlins and their impending murderers row line-up, and how about the potential triple crown winner Josh Hamilton and his Texas Rangers.

Anyways, I'm a strong writer who's just dropped out of the rat race looking to start doing what he loves, watch, eat, sleep and live sports. If you need a sports blogger, I would definitely be interested in any opportunities available. Thank you for your consideration.

I am a college student at Ohio State University and sports are my absolute passion. That has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. I consider myself highly knowledgeable in professional baseball, college and professional football, college and professional basketball, professional hockey, and soccer(US and abroad). I follow the other major sports(tennis, golf, other college sports, skateboarding, snowboarding etc...) at a lower level but if needed I feel I have the ability to become proficient in any of those other sports if that is what you need. The only sports I would not enjoy covering are motor sports. I already have my own blog I started recently( dallasprosports.wordpress.com). It is a blog I started recently about the sports teams I grew up cheering for. It is a blog that I write as a fan first but it is a writing sample you could check out if you like. It is not written for that purpose however.

Sports are unequivocally my passion and I can blog for you if you would like to see what I could do. Let me know the price you are looking at. My expertise is not locally based, and I feel I would be an asset to what you already have.
