Mommy Bloggers Needed

We got this through email:

Mommy Bloggers Needed! We are looking to recruit about 10 additional bloggers that are moms, or moms to be that would be interested in joining our new social community and blogging about subjects pertaining to pregnancy or parenting.

This is a UNPAID position initially. Our best bloggers will be compensated through ad revenue sharing, and we run a monthly contest that awards top bloggers a $50 cash prize. Special bonuses are available if bloggers are able to drive traffic to their blogs.

Additionally, our best blog contributors will be offered paid writing assignments to write articles for our ezine. Generally, we pay between $0.10 to $0.50 per word for articles, depending on length and subject matter.

This is a good opportunity to showcase your writing talents, and jumpstart your blogging career.

  1. This is laughable! What mom has time to write for FREE? I think it’s a crime that there are still job postings for no compensation. Where else in the working force would that fly? And then you decide to reward your writers with horrifically insulting pay if you decide they are decent? Get real!

  2. As a new mommy blogger I wouldn’t mind trying it out. I blog just for fun anyways and if it could help me shape into a better blogger I think it would be a big plus.
