e-Dialog is seeking a Marketing Communications Associate
Objective of the Position:
The Market Communications Associate assists the Director of Marketing by providing support for all written communications, programs and services relating to marketing particularly in conjunction with public relations, and retention/client focused activities. A pivotal part of this role is supporting the PR effort and more specifically the customer relations program â€“ which includes but is not limited to the development of a bi-monthly e-newsletter, blog, and annual client conference.
Â§ Assist public relations council; secures content, organizes interviews, and writes and edits copy for various marketing materials including internal and external communication
Â§ Manages â€œsuccess story programâ€ â€“ identifies, drafts, and writes client case studies working with internal teams and clients from development through final approval.
Â§ Coordinates the preparation and archiving of company publications, including articles, bi-monthly e-newsletter, award submissions and case studies â€“ confirming artwork, verifying facts, obtaining final approvals, etc.
Â§ Oversees development and deployment of corporate e-mail communications program (must have aptitude for technology)
Â§ Responsible for managing vendor relations, reprints, and purchase orders as related to owned projects.
Â§ Coordinates with creative department to ensure that the corporate Web site home page, news, and press release sections are up-to-date.
Â§ Maintains that all deadlines are met by the initially established target date.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Bachelorâ€™s degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred. Minimum of 4 years of related experience.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with outstanding project, people and vendor management skills. Must have strong planning, editing, proof reading, organizational and interpersonal skills required. Must be detail-oriented and set high standards for quality. Ability to interact, work alongside team and with others is essential.Ability to work independently with heavy demands of a fast paced environment. Must have excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint. HTML skills are a plus.Knowledge of online marketing and database marketing is a plus.
