The Internet Innovation Alliance (IIA), a DC-based coalition, is currently seeking a lead blogger to join the Broadband Hub, its daily blog on internet innovation and broadband use in the United States. Highlighting IIAâ€™s commitment to more widespread usage and availability of broadband, the Hub also
serves as a venue to report internet research, statistics, the latest in technology/gadgets, member news and legislation.
The blog will require up-to-date news and commentary to appeal to IIA readers and members interested in internet and broadband issues. The position requires 5 posts per week as well as comment participation and community building.
Knowledge of Moveable Type, SEO and HTML are a plus; however, knowledge, understanding and interest in technology, internet and broadband applications are required.
This is a paid position to begin immediately. Opportunities to network with other bloggers, travel and attend industry conferences and events will also be made available to qualified candidates.
