Eco/Green Writers Wanted

We got this one from Ecoble’s Brett Stark:

Hi,

I am looking or good writers for Ecoble with a good knowledge and experience of eco/green writing. Ecoble in the past has focused on strange/extraordinary eco topics. Whilst still incorporating some of that, I want the blog to transition to a focus on ‘everything green’ for urban/city people, with a particular focus on alternative energy, eco design and green living.

If you have experience and knowledge in these areas, and have the capability to write posts that stand out from the crowd, are interesting/engaging and can attract social media, please contact me. Regarding post style, I want Ecoble to stand out by offering value to the reader (more references, thoughtful opinion, funny, engaging, controversial etc) and not engage in the often seen ‘rehash’ post etc.

I am open to discussions regarding payment and am even willing to discuss such options as profit/equity sharing depending on your skills and experience. For a per post payment scenario, I again am open to discussion, but am looking for less than or equal to $20 per post for around 400 to 500ish words depending on experience. See the blog for past post sizes.

Please contact me at:
ecoble at ecoble dot com

Thanks,
Brett

  2. A warning.

This buyer is rarely available for reviewing articles submitted to his blog, and his primary focus seems to be to criticize American politicians. After 10 weeks of trying to work for this buyer, I finally had to just walk away. In all that time, I managed to actually collect a whopping $30. Unless you just plain hate America, don’t waste your time.

The part that gets me is that he is an Australian who moved to the US and claims to really like it here. He repeatedly rejected articles based on his exact requests in favor of opinionated commentary deriding the Bush administration and the US in general.

He is not part of the solution, he is contributing to the problem. Do I seem to be biased? I wasted perfectly good earning potential for this guy and would hate to hear of anyone else doing the same.

We're sorry, but comments are closed and that means you can't write any. Bummer.
